Photos tell the truth faster than any claim we could make. That is why we document the gates we work on before the first tool comes out and again after the final test cycle. Below are real gate repair jobs from around Austin, each one showing what we found, what we did, and how it holds up after we leave.
Styles & brands we work with

Recent Transformations
Slide Gate Motor Replacement in Westlake Hills
Before
AfterThe gate had been crawling open for weeks, then stopped moving altogether with a grinding sound from the operator housing. We pulled the old LiftMaster motor, which had a stripped drive gear and a control board that had been taking on moisture from a cracked cover. A new motor, a sealed housing, and a track re-alignment later, the gate opens in about nine seconds and stops without that metal-on-metal groan.
Broken Gate Hinge and Sag Repair in Hyde Park
Before
AfterA steel driveway gate had dropped enough to drag a six-inch groove into the concrete. We found one hinge pin sheared and the lower hinge plate bent from carrying more weight than it was ever rated for. We replaced both hinges, squared the gate back to the post, and touched up the scraped areas with a rust-inhibiting paint so the repair does not become next year’s rust spot.
Electric Gate Not Closing in Round Rock
Before
AfterThe gate would open fine but reverse every time it tried to close, leaving the driveway exposed overnight. A misaligned photoelectric sensor (the safety eye that keeps the gate from closing on a car or a kid) was the culprit. We repositioned the sensor, retested the safety loop, and adjusted the closing force on the BFT control board. It now closes reliably and reverses only when something is actually in the path.
Gate Operator Keypad and Intercom Failure in Mueller

An HOA pedestrian gate in Mueller had a keypad that worked only on sunny days. We traced the problem to corroded wire splices inside the post, where rain followed the conduit in. We pulled new low-voltage wiring, sealed the entry point, and replaced the keypad with a weather-rated DoorKing unit. It works in the rain now, which in Austin matters more than people expect.
Ghost Controls Swing Gate Arm Not Responding in Dripping Springs

A Ghost Controls swing gate arm had stopped responding to the remote about half the time. The receiver board inside the control box had a failing relay, and one of the actuator arm bushings had worn to the point of slop. We replaced the relay, rebuilt the arm end, and re-synced the remotes. The gate now responds on the first click, every time.
Fallen Cantilever Gate in Pflugerville

A cantilever gate had rolled off its rear rollers and was sitting on the ground, blocking the whole entrance. We found seized roller bearings, one cracked roller bracket, and a guide that had never been shimmed correctly from the original install. We replaced the roller assembly, squared the gate to the fence line, and lubed the new bearings. It rolls with one hand now.
